Content and acceptable use

Last updated 2026-10-08

This policy covers every Short and every piece of text you give us to publish, on your own YouTube channel or on channels we operate (our network). It forms part of our Terms of service. It also explains how anyone who believes a publication breaks the law or infringes their rights can report it to us. Operator details are in the Imprint.

1. Your content and your rights

You supply the Shorts. We do not create them unless editing has been agreed separately. When you send us a Short, a title, a description or any other material, you confirm that:

  • you own, or hold a valid licence for, every part of it: video footage, music and sound, voices, images, graphics, fonts, logos and trademarks, and that the licence covers publication on YouTube, on the channels agreed with you, for as long as the publications stay online under section 2;
  • every identifiable person who appears or is heard in it has consented to being recorded and to the publication, as Hungarian law requires for a person’s image and recorded voice (Civil Code, Act V of 2013, section 2:48);
  • for anyone under 18, a parent or legal guardian has given that consent, and the young person has agreed where they are old enough to do so;
  • any personal data shown in it is shown lawfully under the GDPR, and you are able to deal with requests from the people concerned;
  • the content is lawful, and its factual statements and claims about products or services are true and can be backed up if challenged.

These confirmations matter because we publish what you send us. Copyright in the Shorts is protected by the Hungarian Copyright Act (Act LXXVI of 1999), and a publication without the right licences can lead to claims, YouTube copyright strikes or removal of the channel it appears on.

2. The permission you give us

So that we can deliver the service, you allow us, without exclusivity and without extra payment beyond the agreed price, to copy your Shorts, upload them, make them available to the public on YouTube on the agreed channels, add the titles, descriptions, hashtags, credits and disclosures agreed with you or required by law. The permission lasts for the term of the contract. Publications already made on our network may stay online after the contract ends, and the permission continues for them, until you ask us to remove them under section 7. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content. You keep all your rights in it. Section 15 of the Terms of service sets out the same permission.

3. What we will not publish

We do not publish, and you must not send us, content that:

  • is illegal in Hungary, in the European Union or where it is aimed;
  • infringes anyone’s copyright, trademark, image, voice, privacy or other rights, including unlicensed music, re-uploads of other creators’ videos and unlicensed use of brands;
  • promotes hatred, discrimination or violence against people based on protected characteristics, or harasses, bullies, threatens or defames anyone;
  • is sexually explicit or pornographic, or offers sexual services;
  • sexualises minors in any way, or otherwise endangers or exploits children. We report child sexual abuse material to the authorities;
  • shows or glorifies graphic violence, terrorism or violent extremism, or supports a terrorist or extremist organisation;
  • shows or encourages dangerous acts, challenges, self-harm, eating disorders or the misuse of drugs, alcohol or weapons in a way that invites copying;
  • is misleading, including false or unproven health, medical, weight-loss or cure claims, financial or investment claims, “get rich quick” or guaranteed-income promises, fake reviews, fake scarcity or hidden pricing;
  • promotes gambling, betting, cryptocurrency or token schemes, investment products, medicines, tobacco or nicotine products, weapons or other regulated products or services, unless you hold every authorisation the law requires and we have agreed in writing to publish it;
  • is political advertising or promotes a political party, candidate, referendum or election;
  • leads to malware, phishing, scams, pyramid or multi-level schemes, or collects personal data or payments under false pretences;
  • impersonates a person, brand or organisation, or falsely suggests endorsement by them;
  • breaks YouTube’s Community Guidelines, YouTube’s policies on advertising and paid promotion, or other YouTube terms and policies that apply to the channel it would appear on.

We may also decline content that does not fit the niche and audience of the channels agreed with you. That is a question of fit, not an accusation.

5. No bots, bought views or fake engagement

We do not use bots, bought views, likes or subscribers, click farms, view exchanges, spam comments or any other artificial engagement on channels we operate or manage. Publications reach the real audiences of those channels. You must not use or buy such services for our publications, or for your channel while we manage it, and you must not ask us to. Fake engagement breaks YouTube’s rules and puts the channels at risk.

6. Our review, metadata and removal

We review requests and materials before publishing. We may refuse a Short, or ask you to change it, if we reasonably believe it breaks this policy, the law or YouTube’s rules, or does not fit the agreed channels. We tell you when we refuse something.

We change titles, descriptions, hashtags and creator credits only as agreed with you. The one exception is a label or disclosure that the law or YouTube requires, which we always add. We do not edit the video itself unless editing was agreed.

We may remove or pause a publication that we find breaks this policy, the law or YouTube’s rules, that is the subject of a well-founded notice (section 8), or that YouTube or an authority asks us to remove. We tell you when we do this and why, unless the law or an authority prevents us.

Our review is a check of fit and obvious problems, not legal clearance of your content. Reviewing or publishing a Short does not mean we confirm that it is lawful, and, as between you and us, you remain responsible for the content you supply. This does not limit any liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.

7. Removing a publication at your request

You can ask us to remove any publication of your content from our network via contact@zephyrmedia.online, during the contract or after it ends. Tell us the link of each publication. We remove it without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of your request, and confirm when it is done. On your own channel you can remove or hide a Short yourself in YouTube Studio at any time.

A removal you ask for does not by itself change the price of work already done. Refunds and cancellations follow the Terms of service and the refunds and withdrawal page, and consumers keep their statutory rights.

8. Reporting content that infringes your rights or is illegal

If you believe a publication we made infringes your copyright, trademark, image or other rights, or is otherwise illegal, send a notice via contact@zephyrmedia.online with:

  1. the exact link (URL) of each publication concerned;
  2. the rights you hold, or the reason you believe the content is illegal, explained clearly enough for us to assess it, with any supporting evidence;
  3. your name and email address and, if you act for someone else, whom you represent and on what authority;
  4. a statement that you believe in good faith that the information in your notice is accurate and complete.

You do not need to give your name if you are reporting child sexual abuse material. Please also report it to the police.

We assess each notice without undue delay. Where it is well founded, we remove or disable the publication on channels we operate without undue delay. If the publication is on a client’s own channel, we pause our work on it and ask the client to deal with it. If you gave us your contact details, we tell you what we decided and why. We may forward the notice to the client who supplied the content so that they can respond; tell us if you do not want your contact details passed on, although some rights claims cannot be resolved without them.

You can also report any YouTube video through YouTube’s own reporting and copyright tools. Those reports are handled by YouTube, not by us.

We may disregard notices that are manifestly unfounded or abusive. Knowingly false notices can make the sender liable under the law.

9. If your publication is reported

If we remove or pause a publication of your content after a notice, we tell you and, where we may, share the substance of the notice. You can then explain why you believe the content is lawful and you hold the necessary rights, with evidence such as licences or consents, via contact@zephyrmedia.online. We review your reply. If we conclude that the notice was unfounded, we may restore the publication, unless the person who sent the notice shows us that they have started legal proceedings, or a court, authority or YouTube decides otherwise. Disputes between you and a rights holder are ultimately for you and them, or a court, to settle.

10. If this policy is broken

If content you supply or your conduct breaks this policy, we may, in proportion to the breach:

  • refuse or remove the content concerned;
  • suspend the service until the problem is fixed;
  • end the contract for a serious or repeated breach, as set out in the Terms of service.

If content you supplied in breach of this policy causes third-party claims, fines or losses, including YouTube penalties on channels we operate, business clients indemnify us as set out in the Terms of service. Consumers are liable only under the general rules of Hungarian law on liability for breach of contract, and nothing in this policy limits their statutory rights.
